With this flip we encountered the usual remodeling needed on an investment home. Part of the reason we named it such 1. It was pretty basic, and 2. It was a little larger than most homes we flip.

The Big Basic House turned out great. Here are the great after shots of the house after our team remodeled and repaired the whole home.

Basement

The basement is looking a lot better than when we first saw it with the failing sump pump damage.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Windows

All windows were replaced due to improper installation and water damage.

Two things about this property: it was a pretty basic flip, as our team found items that are expected in most foreclosures, and it was a larger house.

Here’s a look at some of the before shots of The Big Basic House and what problems our team encountered.

The Basement

As with a lot of foreclosures, since the bank turns the power off  it never fails we have a hard rain. Well the sump pump of course failed and we had some water damage in the basement. There is also some evidence of mold that will have to be removed.

The Windows

Unfortunately with the heavy rain another issue was apparent in our first walk through and dully noted in our Property Repair Estimate Sheet. It seemed the windows were replacement, yet installed incorrectly and they leaked….bad. So bad in fact that the drywall around the windows needs to be replaced as well.
